At present, the commonly used A-class non-combustible materials for wrapping fire smoke exhaust pipes are rock wool, glass wool, silicic acid board, etc. However, it should be noted that some local policies have different provisions, such as the Shanghai area prohibits the use of glass wool as a fireproof wrapping material for fire smoke exhaust ducts, and recommends the use of rock wool.
