Two, the three differences between Class0 rubber and ordinary rubber and plastic
Fire performance: Compared with ordinary rubber and plastic, Class0 rubber and plastic has better fire performance, passed the British BS Class0, the United States FM APPROVED certification, in line with the national standard GB8624 flame retardant B1 requirements. Ordinary rubber has a certain fire performance, but does not have the strict fire standards of Class0 rubber.
After the British BS476-7 flame surface spread test and the British BS476-6 flame spread index test, the flame spread degree is lower, and the flame spread index is smaller, which is the superior fire performance of Class0 rubber and plastic compared with common rubber.
Wet resistance factor: Class0 rubber has a high wet resistance factor, which can effectively prevent water penetration and maintain the lasting stability of adiabatic performance. Under normal circumstances, ordinary rubber and plastic will enhance the waterproof ability through a protective layer such as aluminum foil veneer, which is more common in outdoor exposure scenarios.
Insulation performance: Class0 rubber has durable and stable thermal conductivity and uniform and fine cell structure, high foam closure rate and stronger insulation performance. Widely used in high standard requirements of central air conditioning, split air conditioning, construction, medicine, chemical, electrical appliances and other types of pipe and equipment insulation and insulation. The thermal insulation performance of ordinary rubber and plastic is usually suitable for the manufacture of rubber tubes, plastics and sports equipment and other scenarios with low thermal insulation requirements.
Class0 rubber is one of the highest levels of safety and reliability in the use of rubber and plastic insulation materials recognized by developed countries, and is now gradually used in scenes with higher fire performance and fire protection standards, such as hospitals, schools, high-rise buildings; Or it is the thermal insulation of reactors, storage tanks and other equipment in the industrial field to prevent heat loss and cold energy loss.
