Maoming petrochemical industry was founded in May 1955, is one of 156 key projects during the period of "five" of the People's Republic of China, to drive oil shale, processing started with "artificial oil", is our country the first thousand ton oil refineries, the first megaton ethylene plant, the most perfect domestic fuel, lubricating oil, chemical refineries, the first domestic ErJia over RMB ten billion yuan of annual profit refining enterprises. At present, it has a crude oil processing capacity of 20 million tons/year, ethylene production capacity of 1.1 million tons/year, and thermal power, port, railway transportation, crude oil and refined oil pipelines, as well as a 300,000-ton single-point mooring offshore crude oil receiving and unloading system and other relatively complete supporting systems.
